Hi, I’m Blythe — a ceramic artist, coastal reader, and soft-hearted bookworm living in a sun-faded cottage in St Ives, Cornwall. I believe books carry the same magic as sea glass: shaped by time, weathered by experience, and quietly beautiful.

I read widely but slowly, often by the window with a mug of mint tea (named Mavis) or after a morning sea swim. My shelves are full of stories that ache a little, glow a little, or feel like a warm hand in yours.

I love nature writing, queer love stories, lyrical prose, soft magic, and books that feel deeply rooted in place. You’ll often find me reading Mary Oliver, Sarah Winman, or a dog-eared copy of I Capture the Castle.

Also: I name my mugs, send postcards to myself, and always have far too many books on the go.
